What is NWD in HDFC or any bank?

NWD full form is ‘Network Withdrawl‘ means transaction of money take place through other bank ATM. Mostly NWD term found in private sector banks, in which you can withdrawal money from any bank ATM. There are various term related to ATM transaction such as EAW, ATW, ATS, NFS, OTW etc.

HDFC bank account holder must be aware of this term before perform their transaction through ATM. If you used same bank ATM for money transactions then there is no NWD statement fees charged. According to RBI new rule the first five transaction is free for bank customers, after that bank would be charged on ATM transaction.
