About MGB: Maharashtra Gramin Bank is a Regional Rural Bank Established on 20th July 2009, after the amalgamation of erstwhile Maharashtra Godavari Gramin bank and Marathwada Gramin Bank as per the notification issued by Government of India Ministry of finance, department of financial services. The bank is headquartered In Aurangabad Maharashtra. Besides the basic banking services MGB provides para banking facilities like locker facility, debit card, credit card, mobile banking, UPI and net banking. They call it Online Banking Or E banking services.  Bank also provides Credit and insurance facilities to the customer. 

The sponsor bank of MGB is Bank of Maharashtra with 35 % capital share contribution. The MGB mainly provides banking services to Rural and semi urban areas. It carries out Government operations like distribution of wages to MANREGA workers and distribution of pension along with other banking services.

The operational area of bank is limited as per notification of Government of India. The MGB bank branch network is concentrated in six regions of Maharashtra namely Aurangabad, Beed, Latur, Nanded, Parbhani and Thane.

MGB Net Banking Registration

MGB provides internet banking services under the name of online banking and E-banking services. These services include internet banking and mobile banking, balance enquiry. To access these services go to the official website.

But before that you need to register for the online banking. How to register for MGB net banking?  Just go through the following steps. 

How to Register for online banking? 

The MGB provides internet Banking services for both personal or we can say Retail and corporate customer. In case of MGB as it is RRB ,the personal banking customer are more then corporate customer. 

There’s no difference in corporate and personal account registration The interface is same .so let’s see how to register for internet banking. 

FOR PERSONAL ACCOUNT 

To Register for internet banking here are few steps to follow . Just go through these steps. 

Step 1: First of all to activate the intended online banking services to your account you need to visit your Home branch where you have to fill the form for online banking services Maharashtra Gramin Bank doesn’t offer a facility for allowing online banking online. You need to see the bank branch with a program to apply for internet banking.

Fill all the necessary information correctly like your name, postal address, e-mail address, Mobile no  etc 

Step 2: Second but important thing is that your mobile number should have linked to your bank account if not nothing to worry, while you are filling the form for online banking your mobile no will be linked automatically by the bank but make sure you fill all the details correctly. 

After this you will receive user id and password via Registered post to your address mentioned by you in the form or sometimes you need to collect this by yourself by visiting the home branch . 

How to Login to MGB online Banking

After getting the user id and Password

Step 1: Visit the official website to access online services https://www.mahagramin.in/index.aspx

Step 2: Then click on online banking which is at the right corner of page  

After that you will be redirected to log in page 

Step 3:

MGB provides online banking for both personal and corporate customer. click on personal banking  

After that you will see the some security tips. Read all the tips or you can simply click on ‘click here to proceed’ button for further. 

After you click to proceed you will see the log in screen with virtual keyboard 

Here type your User id and password you received using virtual keyboard and click on log in tab 

How to Reset MGB Internet Banking Password

After the log in you will be asked to change the default password and user id to change and set as per your choice. It is beneficial for the the account security. After successful log in you can enjoy account enquiries, cheque book request, stop cheque, cheque status enquiry and much more with online banking. After the successful log in you can use the online banking services online transaction. 

FOR CORPORATE CUSTOMER 

THE process is same for corporate customer but there is difference in the services and facilities available. There will be one extra id you will get for accessing the services under the name of corporate banking id along with user id.
