SBI 2021 Service Charges for ATM Withdrawal and Chequebook

There are several changes in banks charges which will have direct bearing on the lives of common people. Apart form banking service, these changes will also impact on those who haven,t filled their income tax return. Let’s see complete details of SBI ATM withdrawal charges and cheque book charges which will come into effect from 1 July 2021.

SBI new revised charges

SBI ATM Withdrawal Charges

India largest bank State bank of India revised new service charges for Basic Saving Bank Deposit account holder. According to new rules bank offers the same interest rate on zero balance account as on regular saving bank account. The charges will be applicable for ATM withdrawls, chequebook, money transfer and other bank transactions.

SBI customers can perform

  1. Four free cash withdrawals from the SBI ATM or branch each
  2. After that their will be charges Rs. 15 plus GST on each transactions.
  3. Non-financial transactions, cash deposit machine will be free at branches or non bank branches.

SBI Cheque Book Charges

Cheque book is an essentials part of day-to-day banking service, you can used to make current payment, EMI or loans .State Bank of India account holder will have limited cheque leaves usuage from 1 July 2021. According to new guidelines customers can perform

  1. If account holder using more than 10 cheque leafs then charges will be Rs. 40 plus GST
  2. And for using 25 leaf cheque book the charges will be Rs. 75 plus GST. There is no charges for senior citizens.
  3. Customer can use only 10 free cheque leaves through out their financial year.

SBI Basic Saving Bank Deposit Account

BSBD account is as similar as saving account with additional benefits. SBI provides many facilities to their customers through this acccount such as below

  1. Minimum balance required to maintain account.
  2. No charges for account closure
  3. Free transactions through NEFT & RTGS facility
  4. Deposite or collection of cheque remins free of cost
  5. Free passbook facility and ATM-cum debit card
